IIT Ropar has a collaboration with IITM for MS programs. According to the information available, IIT Ropar and IITM have signed an MoU to enable seamless transitions for exceptional students from BS programs at IITM to MS programs at IIT Ropar.

Eligibility: Eligible students from IITM's BS program in Data Science and Applications can participate in this collaboration.
Benefits: Students can spend up to a year at IIT Ropar (4th year) or BS level, take up research projects, and pursue internships and projects under the guidance of IIT Ropar faculty.
Direct pathway to MS: Students can secure direct admission to IIT Ropar's MS program without the need for GATE scores. Condition is they have a minimum cgpa of atleast 8.00 and then you are set to go.
